Ask her today, right now, and tell us what she says!
It's interesting how the other coworker responded, too. Is this person implying that Sarah and that other worker both seem to think that they are the one who stole the lunch at the off site? And if so, why do these 2 workers have that impression in the first place?
Very curious… Let's hope they update when they do ask Sarah about this.

People had thoughts!
It's clear that Sarah at least thinks she knows who did it, maybe she's narrowed it down to a few suspects in her mind!
I'm a bit curious about the lack of communication going on between Sarah and the coworkers. Their situation seems so icy, and for what? How has no one asked her, even in the most jokey of ways, why she's pulling this months-long stunt?
Some offices do have their unspoken hierarchies, or they don't care for random chit-chat when there's work to be done. But it almost seems more polite to ask Sarah about it at this point instead of just ignoring the elephant in the office kitchen.

This person could help Sarah find the actual culprit!
